Dr Goh Keng Swee Scholarship Singapore

 The Dr Goh Keng Swee (GKS) Scholarship is a private sector scholarship administered by the Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS). 
Each year, 3 to 4 scholarships are awarded to outstanding individuals from 15 Asia Pacific economies (Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, PRC, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos and Myanmar) to pursue undergraduate studies at local universities in Singapore i.e. National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU),  Singapore Management University (SMU) and Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).

The objective of the CSC is to provide, in accordance with the law, statutes and relevant principles and policies of China, financial assistance to the Chinese citizens wishing to study abroad and to the foreign citizens wishing to study in China in order to develop the educational, scientific and technological, and cultural exchanges and economic and trade cooperation between China and other countries, to strengthen the friendship and understanding between Chinese people and the people of all other countries, and to promote world peace and the socialist modernization drive in China.

Dublin City University scholarship is offered for International Student Scholarships to students from India, China, the USA and Japan.

Scholarship covers: China 4 Undergraduate Tuition Fee Scholarships of €3,000 each for 1st Year and €2,000 for subsequent years 
China 4 postgraduate scholarships of €2,000 each
India 5 Undergraduate Tuition Fee Scholarships of €3,000 each for 1st Year and €2,000 for subsequent years [1]
India 5 postgraduate scholarships of €2,000 each
USA 4 Undergraduate Tuition Fee Scholarships of €3,000 each for 1st Year and €2,000 for subsequent years
USA 4 postgraduate scholarships of €2,000 each
USA 14 x Study Abroad scholarships of €500 each
Japan 1 x postgraduate scholarship of €2,000
Japan 4 x Study Abroad scholarships of €500 each.
Description
This Dublin City University scholarship is only available to full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught students studying a full diet of modules, excluding the Foundation or Pre-Masters programme (China, India, USA, Japan).
‣ Separate scholarships are available for students registering on the Study Abroad Programme (USA and Japan).
Eligibility
Candidates must meet the following criteria to avail Dublin City University scholarship.
must be an national of one of the above countries and studying in Ireland for the first time when entering Dublin City University

Be a high achiever with an excellent academic record

Hold and have accepted an offer or a conditional offer by 30th June 2013 for a full-time Undergraduate /Postgraduate /Study Abroad programme at Dublin City University for entry in September 2013

Be classified as a non-EU student for fee purposes and have permanent residency in your country of nationality.
