Clinical Geneticists International Scholarships 2014

The CGS has announced its International Scholarship Programme for 2014.
 Applications are invited from Clinical Geneticists from outside the UK to develop and foster links with a UK centre.
 Applications for 2014 may be submitted from June 1st 2013.
 Closing date is 1st September 2013. All applicants will be informed of the outcome in early October 2013.

China Scholarship Council

 The China Scholarship Council (CSC) is a non-profit institution with legal person status affiliated with the Ministry of Education.
The objective of the CSC is to provide, in accordance with the law, statutes and relevant principles and policies of China, financial assistance to the Chinese citizens wishing to study abroad and to the foreign citizens wishing to study in China in order to develop the educational, scientific and technological, and cultural exchanges and economic and trade cooperation between China and other countries, to strengthen the friendship and understanding between Chinese people and the people of all other countries, and to promote world peace and the socialist modernization drive in China.

Echoing Green’s world Fellowship program

 
Echoing Green’s world-renowned two-year Fellowship program provides more than $2 million in seed funding to a diverse group of the world’s most promising social entrepreneurs. From thousands of applicants, typically fewer than one percent are ultimately selected
Through our two-year Echoing Green Fellowship program, we provide start-up capital and technical assistance to help new leaders launch their organizations and build capacity of their social enterprise
The Echoing Green Fellowship selection process is highly competitive. Applicants progress through three application stages with eliminations after each phase.
 By the end of the process, Echoing Green will have narrowed the 3000+ applications to 15-25 fellowships. The 2013 Echoing Green Fellows will begin their fellowship July 2013 and continue until June 30, 2015.

The application process for Rhodes Scholarships for 2014 is underway, with applications now open in most Rhodes constituencies around the world.
Applications are now open for:

- Kenya (closing date 31 August 2013)
- New Zealand (closing date 1 August 2013)

- Southern Africa (closing date 15 August 2013)
- Zambia (closing date 11 October 2013)
- Zimbabwe (closing date 1 August 2013).
Applications for Rhodes Scholarships in the United States will open on 1 July (closing date 2 October 2013).
