24 Week English Scholarship
You can gain a 24 Week English Scholarship when you enrol in a one year or longer mainstream programme with SIT.  That means you can study English for up to 24 weeks at no additional tuition cost!

SIT’s 24 Week English Scholarships are the perfect way to improve your English while getting ready for academic study.

Simply complete the International Student Application Form and tick the 24 Week English Scholarship box.
To qualify for the 24 Week English Scholarship, you will need to sign a contract with SIT agreeing to the scholarship's conditions.

For US Citizens Native speakers of critical languages .

The scholarship is funded by the National Security Education Program (NSEP).
When you accept the scholarship, you agree to fulfill the EHLS Service Requirement, which requires you to work for the federal government for one year after you complete the program.
The EHLS Program will not give you a federal job. 
You must make a full and good faith effort to find one for yourself, and you must begin working for the government no later than three years after you complete the program. If you do not demonstrate a full and good faith effort to fulfill the service requirement, you will be required to reimburse the U.S. government for the full amount of assistance received from the scholarship.

All EHLS participants receive a full scholarships that includes tuition and a living stipend.
